PT National provides our learners the opportunity to study independently, collaboratively and with guided facilitation. All theory and practical components of the units of work within our Experiential Learning Modules (ELMs) and Assessment Tasks are delivered via our custom-designed Learning Management System (LMS) online.
The Live.Learn.Fitness® Clinical Experience (work placement) is part of the learner’s course work learning and consists of 50 hours practical training and will need to be organised and completed by the learner in their own time to work towards becoming a Specialist Trainer and Fitness Entrepreneur. This includes the completion of the Live.Learn.Fitness® Logbook and guidance by a Fitness Professional who will become your mentor over the duration of the practicum.
PT National will offer learners the opportunity to interact with their assigned PT National educator at our Greater Western Sydney College campus or through our various modes of communication should you be located outside of Sydney.
PT National believe in teaching future fitness professionals in the same manner that the Fitness Industry trains their clients. To enable PT National to remain current and educate in an agile learning environment, learners have the ability to participate in one on one support and small group sessions at the learner’s request.
These sessions will be pre-booked by the learner by contacting their educator via email, phone or text to book in a session.
The sessions will address the learner’s questions on practical elements of the course or to allow learners to interact with their educators and use the time to go through queries pertaining to theory and assessments raised in the Experiential Learning Modules (ELMs).
Learners are provided the opportunity to complete practical elements of the assessment via live assessments with other learners and participants or via video mode.
Flexibility is paramount in our teaching and learning model in transforming your fitness career into a career with presence and impact, ultimately empowering you with the education and skill to become a fitness entrepreneur.
